Ok, quick question, we were approved Dec 1st and I had planned to travel over to see Shannon early January.

Will being approved cause more problems than "normal" at poe?

K1 129 days to approval

K1 179 days to interview

EAD 45 days to approval

AP 45 days to approval

AOS 69 days to approval

No more than 'normal' - the burden of ties to the UK is still on you - risk of being turned away is still the same.

FAQ: 4.6)...Can my fiance(e) come to the US to visit me once the visa process is started?

This may actually be the most common question in the newsgroup, asked on a near daily basis.

i found that it helped me. i took a copy of the noa2 with me along with 100's of other pages of evidence. i'm glad i did because it was my third time of being taken to a room to be interrogated. my argument was that if i was going to overstay then why have i always returned on other visits since our application in may and why did we even apply for the k-1 at all and pay $455? they didn't have a lot to say to that, just a lot of typing. finally he said i was good to go and that i had the most organised file of evidence he had ever seen.
