Hey guys! I called the the VSC since it has been past 6 months since I filed our petition. I talked to one of the VSC representatives and told me I have to wait for 3-4 months due to backlogs. #######!!! I am losing my patience to them . I envy those who have thier approval earlier. I wish I can be with my wife this Christmas but due to time constraints I can't. :crying::crying: I am planning to visit her by Jan.2009. :crying::crying:

I try my best to be more patient. Long distance relationship is hard but I love her and I will take an extra mile just to be with her. It will be my 4th visit to see my wife ..

I need some encouragement ..... :crying:

I know exactly how you feel. I got my NOA1 on April 1st and I really thought my wife and daughter would be here for christmas. I am making my 6th trip tp Romania this year. It is so hard to be so far away from the ones you love especially during the holidays. All I can say is hang in the and hope that we hear something by christmas so at least we have hope for the new year.

Hello...i post a topic on how to handle a long distance relationship here in VJ to get some advice cuz like what you feel its really hard,I can definitely say that it's one of the hardest thing I've ever been through...we love each other so much - but since we live in different countries, it's like ripping our hearts out every time we say "hope will be together soon"..There are days that I feel depressed too. My fiancee is very strong - a lot stronger than I am -- and his constant encouragement, love and support has kept me optimistic even when I'm having a down day. He has a real way of making me feel special - and that gives me strength too. We also know that this separation is not perminant...and that also keeps me going.Just look at the bright side,i think your more than half way of waiting..I remembered last month,my fiancee called the USCIS and the lady who answered the phone said that another 3 mos to wait for the approval, but to our surprise we got approved after 3 mos and 18 days after our NOA1,so dont worry!!everything will be fine, always pray to god... :star:

you think thats difficult???? imagine a situation, where you would have been married and had been waited for ur husband for an endless period of time with no certainty.

He just asked for some encouragement. No need to be mouthy with him. Not his fault you have to wait. Just coz you are married does not mean others feelings don't count or their love is any less than yours

Be a little considerate next time

To the OP - Remember patience is the key. You've made it so far, you'll make it. GO see your fiancee in january and enjoy that time with her. Approval will follow soon
