HELP: G-325 A biographic sheets

Hey guys,

Please bare with me, I am new to this site and have tonsssss of questions, so please be patient.

After going through this site and seeing how great and informative it is, I have decided to fill out the forms myself (and not hire an attorney since they're asking for 2000 dollars.)

On the biographic sheets, WHAT IS THE FILE NUMBER A? Also, WHAT IS THE ALIEN REGISTRATION NUMBER?

Also, for these sheets, if I fill out my fiance's forms, DOES HE HAVE TO SIGN THEM WHERE IT SAYS, SIGNATURE OF APPLICANT".

A number is Alien number, you probably don't have one.

yes you each sign your own forms.

The answer to this is are you the USC? If you were born in the USA then you would not have an A number, if you were not and you came to the USA on a separate visa then yes you would probably have an A number.

The #A number is the number the foreign fiance will receive once they have their visa, for now you put none in that square.

Point of clarification - an A# will be assigned to the benficiary upon receipt of the I-129f petition.

Vermont usually puts the A# on the Receipt Notice, the others usually do not. Vermont and Nebraska put the A# on the Approval Notice, don't know about CSC and TSC. In any event, an A# has been assigned by the USCIS prior to visa issuance.

CSC put my (then) fiancee's A# on the Approval Notice (AKA NOA2).

Yes, I did. The 1st time in connection with the Receipt Notice and the 2nd time in connection with the Approval Notice.

I'll have to remember that the CSC also puts the A# on the Approval Notice - thanks for adding that information.

I took a trip to Jamaica for my fiance to sign the forms, and for us to take additional photos, but at the USCIS helpline they told me that I could have signed my fiances biographic data sheets

I was just checking my copy of the I129f and the A# appears to be in a section for the USIS. Then you will each have forms to sign and send back. Your alien fiancee is the beneficiary. the person applying on their behalf is the petitioner from what I can see done here...hope this helps you out a bit...before you send it all in make sure you get lots of evidence of your relationship to go with it. At the advice of our lawyer we sent as much as we could get together...letters from family members stating they know of our relationship...and pictures of us as a couple plane tickets, stubs, telephone bills, emails, card, announcements..anything you can think of. It sounds overwhelming but once you get started not so bad.
