I filled my AOS and EAD on November 7th and they cashed my check but I have still not received a NOA!

Has anyone who maybe filled earlier than me received theirs? I thought the NOA would come within a week or so...I guess I'm just really anxious, I really need my EAD to pass through in hopefully less than 90 days and now that I haven't heard anything I'm just worried about it. I'm sure I just need to relax but really, I don't want to take a month's vacation (unless it was paid, HA HA) if things don't go through soon. Aaaargh...why are they so slow?

I have another question too, not related to my headline.

Back last year when i filled for my OPT which is the same form as the EAD if I remember right, I was never asked to go in for biometrics and it took them just over 30 days to send it to me. What's the difference now, does anyone know? And why are they so slow????

I guess it should be here anytime soon, although I noticed some of the ones received in the 3rd still hadn't gotten a NOA and some on the 4th had!

How very frustrating! I'm gonna have a hard time dealing with this whole process I realize this....

I sent the packet to chicago the exact same date!!!

according to the timelines.. and if they already cash our checks... we should be receiving our NOA's on the mail soon...

and yes, its slower from october all the way to december...

We sent the AOS package including the EAD on NOV 7th also. We sent two seperate checks. One for the AOS and the other for the EAD. I saw that the AOS check was cashed yesterday but not the check for the EAD. I hope that all moves smoothly and most importantly...QUICKLY!!!!! For you as well.

I was wondering, why did you write a check for your EAD? I doubt that they will cash out your check. I guess your OK because the fee of your EAD is included in your AOS fees.

I was wondering, why did you write a check for your EAD? I doubt that they will cash out your check. I guess your OK because the fee of your EAD is included in your AOS fees.

"The fee for I-485 applications filed on or after July 30th 2007 inlcudes the cost of the I-131 and I-765 (no need to pay for them if filed with or while your I-485 application is pending adjudication -- as long as you paid the "new" rate for the I-485 effective July 30th 2007). "

well i guess the check for $1010 covers the adjustment of status and the EAD right?

the check for 340$(EAD) that we sent in addition to the AOS fee was returned to us on friday, with a NOA stating that this fee was unnecessary. The EAD fee is included in the AOS fee of 1010$! sweet!!

but still no NOA for the AOS. I guess it should arrive this week. I HOPE!!
