USCIS website doesn't recognize receipt #

Hi Everyone,

I'm just curious. I recently received my NOA1 on 11/14. It was received on 11/7 and my check was cashed on 11/11. I registered on USCIS.GOV in order to track my petition. When I enter my receipt number (yes, I double-triple-quadruple checked), I get a "validation error". Is it too soon for me to expect to see my case online?

Hi PetersBride,

we're the same my Fiance recieved our NOA1 on 11/15 and it was recieved on 11/7..

I tried many times to check the status online but it's havong some error,I saw many post here too about this problem..

I hope we keep in touch coz we're on the same date of NOA1,,

Same here...our receipt number isnt working...good to see we're not the only one!

Boo.....mind you I have told Dave not to let me have access to the website even when we do get the receipt number....i'll drive myself crazy....!!!

MzMo...2 DAYS!!!! Your time apart has been one of the longest I have seen....I'm so happy for you guys....I hope you have the BEST time!

Many people are having issues with the site so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

There are threads broken down by month and processing center in the K-1 sub forum .... case filing and progress reports.

A suggestion to those who responded... in the future please try to delete the exsisting text when you reply or at the very least omit the long signatures before posting your reply. It takes forever to scroll down to see what you're actually saying and i'm afraid people will miss information.
