Quick question, does anyone know what vaccination my fiancee needs to get and where he could go for a chest x-ray and what sort of diseases they are looking for and if he needs to get blood work done or what he needs he is just trying to get everything sorted out before he goes to his interview and his doctor is inquiring so his doctor can write a letter stated what he has already had. Can he get his chest x-ray done at the embassy when he goes for his interview. If there is any information I am forgetting please let me know. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you.

Hi there

He'll get the chest xray done when he goes for his medical, which has to be carried out by the Embassy approved doctor. When he gets to the stage in the petition processing where the embassy receive your petition from the NVC, he'll get 'packet 3' which has all the information in it. He'll want to get his vaccinations done by his doctor, because the knightsbridge docs charge more than most GPs. Once he's been for the medical, which includes the blood test (they're looking for HIV and syphillis mainly) it gets sent to the embassy and they receive it as part of his petition. There's fuller information on the United Kingdom regional forum.

I'll find, if someone doesn't have it to hand, what vaccinations he needs, as they're listed on the USCIS website.

Timeline Summary:

Thank you soooo much. My fiancee is just wondering his doctor is asking for a list of vaccinations for him so I have to get a list so I need to find out where the list is.
