we had our interview on Oct 22. I thought it was rather successful. I asked if we were approved and the AOS interviewer said in 2 weeks you should get the card. I asked if that meant we were approved, she said "not yet. I have to get these into the computer first"

We are going on our third week.

I have also checked the website but it gives me stale information :

"On January 24, 2008, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

"

we have received numerous other letters of action yet none of them ever appeared on our online case status.

Probably just a postal system delay. If she said you will get the green card, then you will. It was probably mailed already.

You were interviewed in Seattle, weren't you?

I was interviewed in Seattle on 10/17 and received my Welcome Letter 11/03, card 11/08. There is still at least one person who interviewed 10/17 waiting for online update or welcome letter and GC - and they were told at interview they were approved!

Don't panic yet. My online status did not change until 11/03 despite the fact that the Card Production Ordered date was 10/31.

We, and I think everyone interviewing in Seattle lately, were told that it would be about a month before we got the GC. It hasn't been that long for you yet.

You will probably hear something or see your online status change in the next week or so.

I hate the online status thing. It never updates. Not for 11months in my case.

Still waiting but getting anxious

Hello Blaine74.

The online status thing is totally unreliable.....

If I were you, I would make an infopass appointment.

You can always cancel the appointment if you receive GC before the appointment date.

So, my advice is to make an infopass appointment and see what happens till the appointment date.

Good Luck

My online status did not update from February RFE received until GC production ordered. The only date change was when I moved and filed a change of address. Do not despair. It has not been 30 days since your interview.

It isn't reliable, but it isn't necessarily the issue. Seattle still hasn't sent GCs to others who were interviewed the week before you.
