Hmm. I don't really collect anything in particular.

Right now I am into making veggie juice in my new juicer so treats are a no-no.

I like bright pretty colours.

When I buy and send my gift to my secret person, I want to send something New Orleansy. Whoever gets my name- I would like something that represents the State or area that you are in. It doesn't have to be Christmasy- it can be anything.

Just a comment to keep in mind while selecting 'match ups' for Secret Santas . . . it may work best if those still in Canada receive a Secret Santa also in Canada instead of in the US. I priced sending a 1 lb item to Canada this week - by USPS priority mail - the cheapest option - it was $20. I ended up sending the item by UPS for $16 ( up to 1 kg)-still an outrageous price but better than USPS. So as much as it would be lovely to exchange between countries as well, 'delivery' may add an extra financial burden some may not be able to afford.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Just to note, I don't mind sending to the US or receiving my gift in the US.

Trail - if there aren't enough match ups let me know and I'll send you my US address.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
