Hello Everyone!

I am posting this in a few places.

I am trying to gather interview material. Does anyone out there have a good format letter that can be used for your parents/friends/employer to state/attest knowledge of your marriage and it their belief that your marriage is a valid one, and can be notorized?

Just trying to get my ducks in a row after reading posts on what could happen on thing they might what to see.

Also, I have seen some posts from India, though they were for K1 visas were the consulate was asking for the Voting Registration Card and voting print out for the benificairy. What is that all about?

Thank you!

For exactly the reason you have requested, I never provided ANY such "affidavits" for any purpose in the process. "Affidavits" are probably the "lowest of the low" in terms of evidence.

They are supposed to be sworn statements of individuals yet you ask for a "format". I could just as well write a letter for you, or three, sign them with different names and get them notarized (I assure you, I could) then you can add those to your "evidence". You need to seriously consider your plan if you need to "try to gather evidence" and this is one of the attempts. You should have plenty of bona fide evidence of a relationship without using fabricated evidence as "filler material" Any way you look at it, statements, affidavits, whatever you call them, are "evidence" you fabricate yourself. Bottom of the barrel stuff.
