November CR1 filers

yes i got hard copy in the mail on november 10, but i am confused hen i put my receipt # nothing comes up on uscis website it shows error and then on the NOA1 where it says RECEIPT NOTICE it says it is not even evidence that this case is still pending.it only shows that the application or petition was filed on the date shown (oct 30,2008)

any idea???

hello afia how are you and congrat for the filing well in regard the reciept thing this is actually normal, sometimes it does take a while until they put the case number in the system or update their system so dont worry about that as long as you have your hard copy reciept then there is nothing to worry about and if you call the customer service you will see that they will be able to locate your case by your reciept number even if its not showing in th website. as for the evidence question this is also normal , its just something that printed already in advance on the reciept and they just add different names and different cases numbers so dont worry for that ,its just telling you in general that sometimes even if you recieve the reciept that they might lose the case or something might goes wrong etc,, but its very very very rare when this happen so dont worry about it .

I'm just wondering... there is a thread that also tracks the Nov CSC transfered cases from Vermont...

Uhm.. It makes me think that will our cases will also be going to CSC?...

thanks,, but now when i see the timelines of other people i get depress,like my sister she filed for her husband in may 2008 and she is still waiting for NOA2 oh well there is nothing we can do but wait

Patience is the great virtue in this process...

So am I, I get depress however happy for couples who'll be reunited soon.

Eveybody has it's own time, and our time will come too.

let's just never get tired praying...

My husband is looking forward for our NOA1 this week, since he's not at his house every weekdays, he can't check his mailbox, hopefully this weekend we have our NOA1 waiting in our mailbox.
