I'm so happy I'm almost crying. Thank you so much, everyone on the November filers list and on VJ, for your help and support during this process. We couldn't have done it without you!

For those waiting, I know it's frustrating and it totally sucks, but yours will come soon!

CONGRADS to Chris on getting APPROVED for his green card and I know you guys have been waiting for 2 months after your interview and glad it all got resolved. I think that infopass triggered the approval, and that gives me hope too that I will get my approval for my green card, since it has been 2 months of waiting after the interview and another month, of me getting a RFE and still havent heard anything yet so I hope to hear something and it has been a month since I responded to my RFE I for last month. Enjoy and go and celebrate.:dance:

Congrats KPC!

Canadianmade, do they still have your original passport?

Thanks! I'm so excited!

5-13-09: Green card approved.

6-24-09: Received green card.

8-13-11: Received 10-year green card.

2-21-12: Sent N-400 to Dallas Lock box.

7-18-12: Naturalization interview (passed!).

There is no strict answer to this question. I actually prefer the pictures online, much easier to access and view whenever/wherever I am, but printed about 300 pictures for the interview (mind you, we had no picture printed at all before it).

The officer initially did not even want to look at one! He barely had a glance at about 10 pictures of us before the wedding (autumn of 2005 when we were visiting NY, DC, Atlanta, and Boston).

Other than the 25 pictures from the wedding, have some pictures of the 2 of you in regular life, with friends and family, in the house, outside.

11/17/08 : Application sent (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

11/18/08 : Official receipt of documents stated on I-797C (Signature for receipt at USCIS was on 11/17/2008 at 10PM)

11/28/08 : NOA Received ( I-797C) for all 4 forms (forms issued on 11/26/2008)

12/18/2008: LUD on I-130, I-131, I-765

01/29/2009: Bio done

01/29, 30/2009: LUD on I485 and I765

2/10/2009: issued AP, valid 1 year for multiple entries.

2/23/2009: Got EAD card

3/8/2009: LUD on all applications. Shows approval of I131 and I765, still pending on I130, I485.

04/28/2009 at 9:30 AM: Interview. Told to wait 90 days for a resolution by mail.

05/01/2009: Card production ordered.

05/06/2009: Received approval NOAs for I130 and I485 (welcome notice, 10 years card). I130 still shows case received and pending.

06/18/2009: got the 10 years validity card. Process length: 213 days since sending the applications.

No RFE at all along the process.

Good luck with the congressman or infopass..I think both are good options.

Quick question, guys: our I-485 and I-130 both were touched today, but no updates were made (i.e. the 485 still says card production ordered and the 130 still says case received and pending). Is that weird? Should the status have changed since they were touched? Sorry if this is a stupid question; this has just never happened with our portfolio; whenever it's touched, the status changes! Thanks!

I've got NOAs for both I485 and I130 (approvals for both, the NOA for I485 welcoming me as a new immigrant) but the online system still shows I130 as case received and pending, and I485 with card production ordered (as of May 1st, though the touches were made on May 5th). The card has not arrived yet, but I expect it any day now. Weird online database not updated, I guess.

PS I'll be getting the 10 years card, and the I485 makes reference to the 10 years validity of it, hubby and I are married for more than 2 years.

I know i'm a bit late, but Congrats KPC!

mrsjeffs, at our interview, I took our whole album of more than 300 pictures and he did look through them and was nice enough to ask me if he could take some to add to the file before just ripping them out. He probably took around 5 or 6 out.

If you have any others of you together with any friends or family or even you 2 at a different time than just the wedding that might be good to bring too

Edited to Add - I meant to say also Rob got his welcome letter yesterday in the mail, hopefully the card will follow quickly :)

Thank u for ur reply....

Same thing happened to us. We didn't have any printed photos, we just keep them online. So I printed about 400 photos from our computer, bought several nice photo albums. And the officer didn't even look at them!!!!!!!!! She didn't ask for them and I forgot to show her, even though they were laying right in front of our noses. But I figured since we brought our mutual kids with us, she had enough proof with that.
