My wife and I were so surprised that we received a Welcome to the United States of America letter and I-130 approval notice from USCIS all dated on Feb 23, 2009. It says in the letter that I will be receiving my green card in the mail within the nxt 3 weeks. :dance::dance::dance:

Folks, I wish you all the best in this entire AOS process.

From the bottom of our heart, my wife and I would like to thanks all my friends and families here in Visa Journey for all the supports and helps that we received. We haven't done this without your unconditional understanding and informative helps!!!

Hey guys,

Long time no chat! I lost internet for a bit and was too lazy/busy to go and get my aircard fixed (darn thing keeps breakin').

Anyhow, Been working fulltime as an Extrusion Operator. I love the job, love that is is a very small company and have the freedom to run the machine my way from setup to finished product :)

We are still waiting to receive our interview date, but I will not rush it. I said once I got my EAD then they could take their time. Be nice to get the greencard in hand though.

Things are soooooooo much better and less stressful now that I can provide for my family!

CONGRADS buddy on getting your welcome to America letter, you know that at least you were approved and your card should come in shortly. Still havent heard any word about my interview, so I am still playing the waiting game lol. Anyways you should definately go and celebrate with your lovely wife and enjoy the freedom for 21 months.

Removal of Conditions

05/20/2011.....................Sent off package today, so now playing the waiting game.(Day 1)

05/23/2011.....................Package was received(Day 3)

05/28/2011.....................Received NOA/one year extention letter dated 5/23/2011(Day 8)

06/04/2011.....................I got my biometrics letter in the mail, my appointment is for 06/13/2011@11:00am (Day 14)

06/13/2011.....................Biometrics appointment today @Cleveland, Ohio @11:00am (Day 23)

09/20/2011.....................Approved for 10yr green card, wooohooooo next step citizenship

09/24/2011.....................Received 10yr green card in the mail.

That really good news, now you can relax:)

11/17/08 : Application sent (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

11/18/08 : Official receipt of documents stated on I-797C (Signature for receipt at USCIS was on 11/17/2008 at 10PM)

11/28/08 : NOA Received ( I-797C) for all 4 forms (forms issued on 11/26/2008)

12/18/2008: LUD on I-130, I-131, I-765

01/29/2009: Bio done

01/29, 30/2009: LUD on I485 and I765

2/10/2009: issued AP, valid 1 year for multiple entries.

2/23/2009: Got EAD card

3/8/2009: LUD on all applications. Shows approval of I131 and I765, still pending on I130, I485.

04/28/2009 at 9:30 AM: Interview. Told to wait 90 days for a resolution by mail.

05/01/2009: Card production ordered.

05/06/2009: Received approval NOAs for I130 and I485 (welcome notice, 10 years card). I130 still shows case received and pending.

06/18/2009: got the 10 years validity card. Process length: 213 days since sending the applications.

No RFE at all along the process.

I got my interview date (April 21) but my husband has a military order and needs to be in Georgia from (April 12 to May 4), we've scheduled an infopass for tom and will try to reschedule our interview if i cannot be interviewed alone on that day...problem is some say that it will take another 3 to 9 months to get another interview date...I don't mind waiting but we're planning to visit Manila on November and I'll be due (yep i'm pregnant :) ) on June 6...So, long and short of it, has anyone here ever got interviewed alone without the petitioner and who happens to be in the military also?

I got my interview date (April 21) but my husband has a military order and needs to be in Georgia from (April 12 to May 4), we've scheduled an infopass for tom and will try to reschedule our interview if i cannot be interviewed alone on that day...problem is some say that it will take another 3 to 9 months to get another interview date...I don't mind waiting but we're planning to visit Manila on November and I'll be due (yep i'm pregnant :) ) on June 6...So, long and short of it, has anyone here ever got interviewed alone without the petitioner and who happens to be in the military also?

We're on the same situation, but my husband is not in military though, he's working in Iraq. I never heard of anyone who went to interview alone, and even if there is, we might get a second interview (with the spouse then), since our GC application is marriage-based, our spouses has to be there. I wish my husband can come home, but he really can't. I think infopass is the best way to get clear answers on what to do.

I have one thing to ask though, how do you get an infopass? :blush: can I just call USCIS? or I have to go to the local office? I don't know :D

You can do it online, search for the local office in the USCIS website and it will show you their available schedule :) Hope we can reschedule our interviews, goodluck to us!

My wife and I were so surprised that we received a Welcome to the United States of America letter and I-130 approval notice from USCIS all dated on Feb 23, 2009. It says in the letter that I will be receiving my green card in the mail within the nxt 3 weeks. :dance::dance::dance:
