If you were an honest person, you wouldn't present the soundbites that fit your agenda...you would present them in their contextual entirety,

and debate the points you have issue with.

But like many here...you prefer to pick and choose what you will consider as truth.

What he was calling for was cleaner coal. Less greenhouse emissions. There's this thing called pollution, and this other thing called global warming.

You don't have to believe in global warming, but if you don't believe we have to cut down pollution, well...I don't know what to say.

Here's a little bit more from the transcript.

And China is building a coal-powered plant once a week. So what we have to do then is figure out how can we use coal without emitting greenhouse gases and carbon. Bad news for you: McCain and Obama agree on that part of addressing global warming. Both advocate a cap and trade system for greenhouse gas emissions. Not that you would know or care since all you are looking to do is smear. Go for them then.

the truth is this:

as a smart and resourceful nation, we can quickly start businesses that encompass renewable resources.

Relying on a one time gift from dinosaurs is over!

So, companies such as wind power, solar power, electric public transportation and electric cars, sustainable communities with green houses and "green" houses (one to grow plants in, one that uses grey water, recycles waste, etc.)...look if I took the time I could write a thesis....could be subsidized to get started, and then BOOM awesome business...because that is what we need. Something that works AND makes us feel good about ourselves.

WIN/WIN!!

Maybe I will...and maybe it will be published...there are many already.

Here's an interesting quote from what's considered a Pro-McCain media source.

In the interview Obama spoke about his energy plan which includes an “aggressive” cap and trade policy which will charge polluters in an effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions. John McCain is also a supporter of cap and trade.

So are you going to start sending out messages saying that John McCain is a supporter of "cap and trade"?

I didn't think so...because that doesn't fit your agenda. Getting to the bottom of a subject doesn't fit your agenda. The truth doesn't fit your agenda.

What's sad is that there are people who believe in many of the ideals of the Obama Biden campaign, but because of their fear and hatred

of a dark skin man with a funny name, they will do anything to smear him, even if it violates their otherwise good sense of reason.

If they were really for their candidate, they would post about how great John McCain is, rather than spreading fear of Barack Obama.

Well if there is one thing you learned tonight it is that Fox News is by far the most far and balanced news source in the country, bar none. Here is another, BTW, McCain is not anywhere near my choice candidate, in fact, I definitely didn't vote for him in the primaries. I voted Romney, and I believe Giuliani, Huckabee, Thompson, Hunter, and even Paul would have been much better presidents. I can't believe our party nominated McCain. Tuesday will be a landslide victory for Obama because the Republicans went with a 73 year old man that is running for president for the third time, spanning a decade, with a record of losing miserably each time.

...That being said, McCain is still a much better choice than Obama....Obama has about 30 red flags compared to a handful of red flags on McCain.
