Copy of medical exam???

I was just wondering WHY the person that goes for the medical exam as a requirement for the interview does not automatically get a copy of everything having to do with the medical exam. I noticed that it says the doctor doing the exam should give the person a copy of their vaccination record (DS-3025), but nothing about getting a copy of the exam. I assume this has something to do with tampering with the results, but I have read in different threads of the exam being "lost" and having to pay for a new one when AOS time comes around. My sense is my fiance SHOULD have a copy of this just in case they can't find it for AOS part...

They won't give you a copy of the exam for tampering reasons. Best time to get the medical is within a month of your interview.

Even if it was done... how would you get by the "tampering" part (assuming of course it was not in a "sealed" envelope)?

YMMV

They do in Australia.. when I picked up my medical results from the doctor's clinic a few days after my exam the envelope was unsealed and there were specific instructions to make copies of everything. So I did and kept one for my own reference

I must admit it's a bit odd. Here in Manila, the clinic forwards your exam results and even passport with addtional pictures straight to the embassy.
