I filled up on Friday @ $2.40 (actually $2.399 but...) at Columbia Costco.

Could gas price between $1.50 and $2.00 (a range last seen in 2004) be on the horizon?

Only if you're referring to US$ in your post, but thought I was using Zim$ in mine, OR the engine of the Neon is replaced with that from a 100-cc Honda bike. :lol: :lol: Edited by CherryXS

Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Hmm...It's going back up because OPEC vows to cut 1.5 millions barrels/day. Lets hope the car manufacturers keep producing those hybrids!

Yes.....But the expected increase could take MONTHS if people don't gorge on cheaper gasoline now, I am thinking it's a supply and demand thing. The more we use, the higher the price. Me, I am all for sticking it to OPEC by still buying less than before. They believe we WILL pay up to $147 a barrel. All we can do is show them that we don't HAVE TO. That's my opinion, anyway.

I couldn't believe I was able to find gas at some small gas shop for $2.96/gallon. Everywhere else it's $3.20 - $3.70.

Personally, I never minded the high gas prices.

Would be ironic, yet not surprising, in the wake of high demand to go away from petrol that gas prices go down to reasonable levels.

Exactly why petrol price had tendency 1995-2003 to be higher in summer than in winter.
