I mailed my I-129F application to the Vermont Center in March of 2008,

I got NOA1 on 03-13-2008.

After more than 7 months I am still waiting for NOA2

I called the 800 munber today and finally got some live person on the phone. I was told K1 cases are processed up to 03-04-2008 as of today.

I asked if there is anything wrong with my case since many others filed much later than I already got their NOA2.

He said there is nothing wrong with my case.

My finacee is getting very unhappy since she can see others all got approved much faster.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the process?

I called my congresswomen office yesterday for help. The person is very helpful and she said she can call a special hotline to USCIS. I got a quick feedback from her today that says:

Your petition is with an adjudicating officer for processing at this time and you should be hearing shortly from them (Vermont Service Center). It's just mean they will let you know whether additional evidence will be needed or your petition will be approved. If you do not hear from them say in about 2 weeks please let me know.

Same situation for me.. To long to comment on. Let us know if the call to the congressman works or if we can get the adjudicators number.
