Hi there,

As i was filling the AOS form, i noticed they asked for the birthplace of my spouse. My spouse was born in Taiwan and gained citizenship through his parents. Do i have to submit supporting documents to show that? Cause if they find that he is born in Taiwan, they may have to do a background check on his US citizenship?

Both of us were born in Germany (one German Citizen, one US citizen through birth/parents) and it caused no problems or delays.

At the AOS stage the USC Spouse is really not part of the picture (in this regard) anyway.
