Why do you hate muslims?

i dont hate muslims, i just hate everything about them :jest:

well, i am sure it is a deep seated bias..caused by your hindu upbringing and manifested in your hatered of Yusuf Islam and people who avoid swine flesh..of course, i could be wrong

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Um, VW is Muslim unless something has changed that I don't know about. Assuming Republicans or people voting for McCain all have the same views is stupid. I am registered Republican, while I am more center...but just because I don't clash with people as much I might not get noticed as one of those you mentioned. But I, as a "Republican", of course have no problem with any religious choice of people, or people in the military, whether I agree with their choice or not. So people can stop assuming what all Republicans think.

huh? nowhere in SRVT's post I saw any assumption regarding the Republican ideology or anything making reference to it, he is mentioning specifically 10 people that he doesn't agree with and who had made sure to express their ideas clearly. Therefore, he is not assuming anything.

I'd sure love to hear what Republicans think about Muslims in our military. Especially with Muslim names.

I particularly mean those who love to call Barack Obama "Hussein", because of his middle name.

That's where I felt he assumed too much. And after certain people didn't show up to post anything, he posted the thing I quoted. So if they are totally unrelated, ok. I don't think they are though.

Nope, it was specifically targeted to our Resident Republicans (or closet Republicans), who tear a$$ into anything Muslim (or Arab, or Mexican). Could go for Aficionado as well. Although, I think most of the others can vote.

By the way, what makes you "center"? Are you pro-choice? Pro gay marriage? By center do you mean Libertarian?

No, No...I don't really think I am libertarian unless I am and I don't know it. :P

While I don't really want bigger government, I do think some programs done by the Govt are beneficial, such as financial aid for college which I had the opportunity to use. So it would seem that I wouldn't even want those kind of programs if I wanted very small govt. I would support forms of welfare, but they need to be reformed a lot IMO. Maybe I wouldn't be considered technically center, I don't know, and those silly political spectrum tests always tell me I am a centrist.

If you want a good idea of what is a centrist, look up Rockefeller Republicans. ;)

Today's Republicans are well off to the right.

There is a few Republicans I'd vote for. One of them, sadly, defected. Lincoln Chafee.

every one knows that all Muslims are terrorist..or if you were ever a Muslim or have a Muslim name.... you are guilty....

Show me where that's said once here on VJ. Quit playing the victim. It's unbecoming.

And thank you for your service Mr. Khan.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills.
