Do you guys/gals think things have been very quiet at the service centers because they have been working on Naturalization applications...Keeping in mind that elections are just around the corner... Any thoughts?

If that is the case... we can atleast have some hope that things will pick up post first week of November.

I know.....The silence is deafening.....Not a single approval.....not even from CSC.....I just hope we get some approvals soon.....Did anyone who gt transfered to CSC gt approved???

Naa, didn't you see the news? They just got a good shipment of crack in and it was distribuited to the the uscis workers...they are all huddled around a fire out back behind the building throwing cases on the fire laughing while passing the crack pipe around. :jest:

Just be patient guys, it'll come before you know it.

RMNCM...we have the same anniversary:)...fortunately u got CSC and are planning to " Look into each others eyes"....n I got stuck at VSC...though I have a NOA 1 of 9th May .... I am trying to hard not be jealous or upset ..... But its very tough..... Don't think "we" at VSC deserve this......

elections should not have anything to do with the slow processing as of today. election is in less than a month and by this time most states have passed their deadline for registering to vote. so logically it is not possible for them to approve and give them an interview so fast when people cannot even register to vote...that thought is out the door.

Folks the reason is the credit crunch.

VSC and CSC employees are not getting any dinaro $$$.

US treasury pays all their bills and pay checks to USCIS employees.

Since US treasury is darn busy bailing out the wall street they forgot to pay USCIS employees and the employees stoped the work.

We tax payers are getting a rough deal. First we got knocked hard on our head by wall street and now with USCIS.

I am going to write a bill (BAILOUT USCIS) to congress and they must approve it otherwise I am not going to pay my taxes. Unfortunately my taxes are dicucted first before I make any money.

May be China can bail out USCIS. Hello China...please help.

they are doing nothing but sitting there looking pretty, i guess the election fever as taken over the closer the election less work they do thats just my thought. i filed in May and not even a single touch, this waiting game sucks.

I was blaming it on naturalizations too until the beginning of this week when deadline to register to vote passed.

04/09/2008 I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

05/03/2008 call to USCIS because NOA1 not received ;( Got the receipt number and was told that we cannot get replacement NOA1.

08/21/2008 request for NOA1 for I-130 to file AOS placed over the phone and forwarded to VSC. Thanks to the first great Rep at USCIS hotline

10/17/2008 Hubby`s B-day, NOA1 for I-130 finally arrives!

10/21/2008 AOS sent to Chicago lockbox

10/31/2008 NOAs for AOS received

11/06/2008 I-130 is transferred to CSC

11/20/2008 biometrics done

12/02/2008 I-130 APPROVED!!!

01/02/2009 EAD received

02/12/2009 Interview APPROVED!!!

I think it was destined to happen. What you get when a donkey mates with a horse.

The answer is mule and that what precisely happened to CSC. Horse became a mule.

Now we have to genetically modify VSC and CSC.

I am going to do some research on that.

Good luck folks...we are financially in a Sh$$ and here at USCIS we are in a pile of Sh??

God help all of VJ friends. I am no longer going to send my bill to congress...rather I will send it to God.
