I don't know if I had any touches on my case, I'm still not able to check it online, it annoys me so bad eventhough its not really necessary but I would still like to see what's going on :P

I check mine daily - no touches yet, but I'm not overly confident that the website remains updated due to all the problems many have had.

I agree with you on that point, I know it is a futile exercise yet I keep on checking..... :P

Johan & Anne, just curious what list you're looking at. I look at this one: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthl...=2&sortby=2 and you are at #253, but you have that as of today you were #233. I'm confused

Hey! Well....I have been looking at this one Igor's List..

I like it better because my number is lower .. ;)

...although it bounces up and down each day

Hmmm...wonder what the difference is??!?!?!?! :o I'm #303 on the list you attached and #312 on the other one I've been watching....

I have no idea.....I believe that the list you posted organizes people by the date their NOA1 is issued and the list I posted is organized by the date people sent in their petitions (so I suppose yours is more accurate in a way-however I feel like there is little rhyme or reason to the USCIS system of processing petitions so neither of these lists are that reliable :crying: ).

Very true, I mean it is nice for those that get unexpected early surprises but I think it would be better for us overall if they just went in order from date received...I don't understand how hard it is to do things in order. Nor do I understand why it takes 6 months to process something that takes 15 minutes to actually do. And they can't even find time to update the website every month.

Both lists now work on NOA1 date. However the new Igor's list on VJ (the more accurate one as I believe as there are less duplicates) uses date from the past year, currently Feb 08 onwards. I believe when January is up we will lose all the Feb 08 filers on this list. The old Igor's list goes from the VSC processing time, 15 April 08 onwards. That's why you'll always be lower on the old Igor's list.

I must say, I was a bit despondent over the slow pace that Vermont had a few weeks ago - but they really seem to be picking up the pace lately with 75 VJ approvals in last 3 weeks. They haven't had a run like this since last winter.

I'm feeling better about a mid-Feb approval if this pace keeps up.

I was just thinking about the extrapolations that were done a couple of months ago RBAL_TN. I believe you were saying the average would have been around mid-January (90 days out from NOA1), and I was scratching my head asking "How'd you come up with that?"

At that time I was thinking mid-March, at the earliest, to mid-April. Now I believe our thinking is aligned; October will begin popping mid-Feb to mid-March.

Happy wait.

At the time, I did think we'd see mid-Jan, but then VSC seemingly took a month or so off and that skewed my calculations. Now I agree, mid-Feb we'll start seeing much more Oct approvals.

Hope so, 30% of September filers have been approved so far. Once that reaches 50% I think we'll see October filers starting to be approved. Luckily there are about half the number of Sept filers than there were Aug filers.

You are thinking the same as me, too, Laura. Once a month has reached over 50%, the next month begins.

My goodness, I'll hardly know what to do with myself once it gets to the Consulate stage and I've sent all the forms over to my fiancee.
