Can anyone please tell me, how long is it taking these days to recieve a response (once all the returned forms are resubmitted) to recieve a reply regarding a i485 RFE?. I know they say 90 days but, is this the norm?

ours was about 2-3 weeks after acknowledged receipt... (When the online system said that the case resumed normal processing)

(moving from K-1 to AOS forum)

Our return receipt was received after a few days. USCIS didn't send us a response until a month later, and it was a rejection notice. I posted the story here if you are interested in reading why:

Hi!! I am a little lost...

Are you saying that when you get an RFE and you re submit the documents USCIS will send you a notice acknowledging that they have received the information for the RFE??? I have received one RFE but never got a confirmations stating that they received my information, is this normal or should I worry? Thanks!

yes i am signed up. They did touch my case after I send the documents requested in the RFE . However I never recieved a notice saying that everything was ok. I just figured that if something wasn't ok I would get another RFE. I never thought they would send us a notice stating that they recieved the requested documents, or do they usually do this? I am signed up on the online system of www.uscis.gov

Thanks again for your helo :thumbs:

Seekingadvice;

No, like everything else its randomn. I have had 3 RFE's and only got 1 notice online saying that my information was received and case processing resumed.

Don't worry if you havent received anything. They said that they have 60 once the case processing has resumed to get back to me on a decision or if additional information was required.

All the best
