Yep here it is:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

I am not feeling very well and am highly stressed out.... the interview is on the 7th... Paul has yet to find work... and I don't really know what to do... the blooming injections that I am having are extremely painful so my arms ache... and will for the next few weeks at least... soooooooooooooooooo am not really in good shape...

Also sent a whole lot of my clothes to the USA and have only got very casual clothes here... so do not know what to wear for the interview.... I can't stand Indian dress so would not be caught dead wearing that... I just do not know what to do...

Aw Anita, try to calm down. I know its hard, trust me, you know my stress situation lol. It'll all be fine.

Also, for my interview, I wore casual clothes. Actually, I just wore a pair of Khakis and a shirt and I was overdressed than most. You will be fine and just try to relax.

I hope you arm feels better (F)

What about the old salwar kameez with western style flared pants? Kinda traditional yet not..or do you hate all traditional Indian stuff?

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

I am not fond of Indian dress... the disasters I have had with a sari are almost comical - they just seem to fall off... has happaned to me at weddings and at an official Embassy do to celebrate Panama's national day... that is followed by a desperate attempt to put it in place and have it stay there...

I am not fond of salwar kameez either...

Am most comfortable in western style dress...

Anyway can someone tell me what will happen if Paul does not find work by the time I have the interview???

Just think, before long you are going to have that visa and then be walking down that aisle and marrying your gypsy.....and all of this now, will be just a faded memory.
