I recently called a civil surgeon in the Ft Lauderdale Area. My wife only needs her vaccines updated. After talking to the secreta=ry and finally talking to the doctor she stated she would not sign off on the vaccines unless a full physical is done cause her license is at stake. She also rationalized her fee by stating that INS (she's obviously not updated) requires the Gardasil vacine ($200 additional) for all women undwer a certain age as of August first. Is this true?

Of course she won't sign off on it, because she won't get PAID.

Btw, she is full of #######. Unless she put down fake vaccination records or something, how can her license be at stake. LIES to get you to pay more $.

Yep, HPV Vaccine is now on the list. Shop around any doctor, or medical ctr can administer the required vaccinations, it does not need to be a CS, then you take the records to the CS for transcription to the I-693

that's right. you can have the vaccinations done anywhere (try your city's health department, they're usually cheaper). Just bring all proof to the civil surgeon.

If he says that you can only have it done by him/her, he's not being truthful and maybe you might want to pick another civil surgeon.

in my case..

the immigration officer of the health center arranged my i-693 and sealed it..

the nurse gave me the vaccines needed..

the accredited CS/doctor at the health center signed my i-693..
