AOS interview sched

Hi guys,

We finally received our interview sched and with it is a gazillions bullet points of items we need to bring. And they specifically asked about the I-864 ( affidavit of support), However, i remember sending them the copy of the original form with the rest of AOS docs. Do we need to print another form and fill it up then bring it to the interview?

Yes, I will do that just in case. Also bring copies of any documents ever submitet to USCIS.

Fill out another I-864 will copies of W-2 or other supporting docs attached to I-864.

Take copies of everything. Who knows what they can ask at the time of the interview. Its better to be safe than sorrow. Best of luck!

You don't need to complete another I-864 as such. All you really need to take with you to the interview are updated wage slips and your most recent tax returns. Take a copy of the original i-864 that you submitted. If you submit a new and some of the information is different then it might make them a little suspicious IMO.

Hi, I am in doubt about the documents to take to the interview...

1) A completed Affidavit(s) of Support (form I-864) with all required evidence, including the following, for each of your sponsors (UNLESS ALREADY SUBMITTED)...

We submit this when we file for AOS, so we don't need to do again right?

other is: Original and copy of each SUPPORTING documents that you submitted with your application...

_ what they mean by supporting? I mean..all the rest of the list is pretty much what I send already...

Do I need to fill out the forms for AOS again?

Super confuse and nervous, interview in less than one month...

I would just bring every form and document you sent in with your original submission. If you sent copies of birth certificates, bring the originals, as well as extra copies for the officer at the interview. I think you can bring extra pictures if you think they will help prove your marriage is real.

Before mailing our application, I made a couple of copies the whole package. I'm pretty much ready to go at any time...

My advice is if you may a copy of everything you filed take those copies. I have a double copy of everything just in case. They'll probably won't ask for anything, but just to be on the safe side. After all, carrying a bunch of papers is not a big deal. Take pics and a lease or car under your name.

Better to have more things than to go empty handed.
