Hello everyone,

I am very worried and happy at the same time. My wife and daughter applied for the AOS in june. My wife just got her green card today  . Now she also has a daughter which i also got a letter saying that she needed additional information in order to approve her case. Here is where the bad part begins.

I only sent one I-864 for wife and daughter thinking this would be enough because in part 2 i would put my wife and part 3 the daughter. Now the document i received today says i need to do one separate i-864 for the daughter plus income taxes ,pay stubs,w2 and evidence of citizenship from the joint sponsor and I. I have a joint sponsor and i do not want to be bothering him with all the hustle of doing all the paperwork again because it is a difficult situation. Any ideas?

I sent 1 i-864 from me and 1 i-864 from my sponsor + plus income tax,pay stubs,w2 and evidence of citizenship from the joint sponsor and I the first time i sent the package with my wife's and daughter's document . Now why is it that i need to send everything again....I gonna go crazy!!.

Any suggestions??

Thank you in advance.

Julio.

Either find a different joint sponsor or suck it up and get another I-864. You made a mistake. Now you correct it.

Each application must stand alone.... If you did not provide a complete set of evidence (because you incorporated by reference to another application) then you simply must supply what they need and that might be as simple as a complete copy of the I-864's you submitted

YMMV
