The G-325A form has 4 color-coded pages. Is it okay to use the .pdf download even though the pages are not color-coded? (I was afraid to try it with the I-129F).

Thanks in advance!

Tom,

The pages will be color coded if one puts the appropriate paper in the printer. That aside, the anecdotal evidence confirms the supposition that they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of creating downloadable forms if they weren't going to accept them for use.

The real problem with the PDF G-325A is that many of the fields do not have much space for the information. Don't worry about it - condense and abbreviate as ruthlessly as necessary to make things fit.

I actually used the same form for all 4 pages - I printed it 4 times and then had them signed. I do believe they use the 3 extra copies for kindling in the office fireplace but maybe not.

If you read the bottom of each page they have something different, but the actual form is the same. As long as you use all 4 pages I don't think the colors matter. Thus far, we have used a downloaded form for everything. Printed them all on plain white paper.

I didn't even realize they were color-coded! And as a side note, this was my LEAST favorite form (which is saying a lot)...the trouble of finding my husband's college dorm addresses aside, four out of the five employers I put down had names so long that the address wouldn't fit onto the line in the fillable PDF. I had to hand-write it in teeny-tiny lettering...four times!

The G-325 needs to die. Or at least be Xeroxable.

The G-325 needs to die.

I say keep the 325 and add check boxes at the bottom:

This is for an I-129, I-485, I-76x, blah blah...

Then eliminate the other 400 forms instead. :luv:

:star:

PS: G325 color coding doesn't matter. Use plain white cheap stuff.

The colors were for those that were fond of it prior to the paperwork reduction act.

Paperwork Reduction Act??? Wotttt????
