Me and my fiance, we call each other husband and wife, even on emails and chats. Is it fine if I print these emails and chat logs and bring it for my interview? Will I have problems with this? Do you think it's bad and I might just get denied for the visa? Does anyone experienced this too?

Thanks for sharing and responding.

You're asking for trouble. Find e-mails and chats that DO NOT mention husband and wife and submit those. You only need a few. If you don't have any then leave them out. Although it's not very likely they will read them carefully it would be a bad idea to include them.

My fiance calls me Mrs Beautiful Maria Nonweiler and his signature on his email goes like this:

I LOVE YOU

MISSES BEAUTIFUL MARIA

NONWEILER

I print it all like 120 copies of his emails. If they will get suspicious then will find time to read all those email and conduct further investigation. And there is your CENOMAR that will prove your Singleness. In my case they did not ask for any proofs of relationship but i have it all readied.

I dont think you have anything to be worried about, it is just a means of endearment. They will ask you if they get curious about it. So worry no more :)

I would say try to avoid submiting evidence like that. Instead of printing out emails that have "husband" and "wife" mentioned in it, you can do the screen print of your inbox that will show emails from your SO. Same goes for the chats. Instead of printing a whole conversation log, pring beg. and end. Good luck!

But he doesn't spell it Mrs on your email.

Personally I would avoid anything that will cause the CO to raise further questions.

Actually he wrote "Mrs Beautiful Maria Nonweiler and wifey" and i wrote "my husband" on our emails, I just want to point it out to her that as long as she has documents to show of her Singleness, and if they ask her about it, i am sure she can explain the reason why they call each other husband and wife although they are not legally wed yet :)

If I on her situation and CO will wonder, I would say it to them that In our heart and In our mind we are already a husband and wife and we are happy each time we express it to each other, we just need a paper to prove it all.

Why raise additional questions if it can be avoided? Plus, there are stories of denied entry just because an engaged couple referrerd to each other as husband and wife in front of POE officer while trying to enter with K1.

agreed... this is not something recommended especially at higher fraud Consulates. Get a CO in a bad mood and have even a mention of "husband/wife" on anything and you're going to raise questions which could lengthen the amount of time you're in DV in PI. I wouldn't risk it.

You may think it's 'cute or endearing' but we've seen this cuteness casue problems for many couples. It's like showing engagement ceremony pictures... why give them fuel for the fire? Even tho this are American Consultes, you are often guilty until proven innocent. ;)

Regarding the calling card records. If it doesn't show your SO number then it wont be of much help except to show that you've called 'someone'. Make sure you have more concrete proof as well... boarding passes, passport stamps, itinerary in both names, cc records in his/her Country....etc.

You have a point. So the best thing she should do is to try looking for those chat logs and emails without those things that will catch CO's attention and would lead to another question.

To the OP, I wouldn't use any such emails. Start now but not using those terms of endearment just in case. It's fine to state that for you this was not an issue, but after having been on VJ for several years, I can attest to the heartbreak that comes with having the person interviewing not approve your visa because of this exact same issue. I agree with the poster that said, why raise additional questions if it can be avoided?
