The NVC has received my Checklist for the RFE on the DS-230. I didnt write PRESENT for question 20 on how long she has lived there and also I submitted the PCC from the police station. I hope to wrap things up soon from NVC and hear the greatest words "CASE COMPLETE". After I hear Case Complete do I just keep calling NVC for an interview date? How does all that work? Please someone tell me. Thank You VJ Family for helping me get this far.

Since you didn't make it for the deadline for October. You would want to call them on the second week of October for interviews in November. They will tell you the same thing. You can check the automated system and check if it says case forwarded to ... embassy and by that time they have scheduled you for an interview. Good luck.

My Husband's interview date was given to me on the phone before the AVR message had changed. Anyway, it can't hurt to give them a call in a couple of weeks.

Good luck for a speedy interview date

I called to see if there was an interview about May 20. I was told they finished scheduling for June and call the second week of June for July. In desperation, I called May 23 to find a better way to have someone contact them as I would not be near a telephone, let alone electricity. It was my last opportunity to talk to a person. And it can be frustrating calling NVC. Well, my interview had been scheduled and confirmed for July 1. So at times, they do schedule outside of the 2nd week timeframe.

Good luck with your interview date and the interview.

I still have not heard Case Complete. The AVR said the missing document packet was received on 9/22/2008. Does anyone know when would I be able to hear. All they need to do is put the PCC and see if we have the dates in for Question 20. I really want to be out of there so I can get the interview in November. :(

Happy,

Will I be able to still get a date in November?

You should hear a case complete very soon. As long as the case complete is before the deadline then you should be scheduled for a November interview if the embassy is not full for interviews. Since they just updated the AVR on 9/22/08 you will hear the case complete by next week given that you are not RFE'd for anything else. Good luck.

Remember to call them on the second week of October to find out if they have scheduled an interview.

When you spoke to the rep, did they say that they have received everything and are waiting for that last RFE?

I called yesterday and they said your case is with a reviewer right now. I got the letter from NVC a few days ago and it stated all they needed was the DS-230 with Question 20 fully completed and a PCC. I have sent obth of those and made sure I have completed everything. I have thoroughly checked everything also. What should I ask them when I call? I can call them if you let me know what I should ask them.

So you don't have to worry now. They will definitely complete your case soon. The only thing you have to do now is wait until next week which sucks but it will be over soon. :D(F)
