Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Republicans realize playing the stock market there are winners and losers. They're playing the side of the winners. The losers, yet again, are the actual hard working people. Which is why Social Security needs to stay the way it is. It at least guarantees people who work they'll get something back when they retire.

Remember, Bush loves the elite:

So bear that in mind when he and McSame suggest tax cuts and who they want to benefit most.

How come your for individual liberty except when it comes to things like allowing people to choose retirement options? You can put all your money in Social Security but leave me out of your mad Ponzi scheme.

The people who paid into Social Security will get a fraction what they paid into it and you know it. The only alternatives are higher and higher taxes or more immigration to pay into a dying program. Younger people ain't gonna support a bunch greedy old (mostly) white people. The only solution is raise the eligiblity age to 70 or 75 for starters.

Social Security is a flawed system.

By the way SVRT I will give you one guess which country's citizens, on average, now have the largest retirement accounts.

PS We don't have a social security system but use a private mandatory 401K style system. Where every employer has to pay 9%, on top of your salary, into a retirement account of your choice.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Ok, I forgot to multiply that by 100

The new CAGR is 0.5%. Still very pathetic.
