Hola,

I just received NOA2 (Oct. 7th) It was approved Oct. 2nd. Im sooooooo excited!! I had been checking the website for the last few weeks about once a week and hadn't even seen a touch......then bam! I'm already going to Peru next week to see mi bb....I'm in shock right now!!!!!

chau

Whoo-hoo, congratulations!

When I saw your good news I thought of checking the website myself, and....I found out we would receive a RFE :crying: I expected NOA 2 not RFE :crying::crying: What do they want from us, what was not convincing enough? When they send RFE what do they normally look for? more evidence of our relationship or what?

I am so sad because I don't know how much it will take them , after receiving the RFE, to get back to our case....

Hey Stepha--on the bright side, at least you know that your file has been looked at! Hopefully it's just something small and easily fixed--please keep us posted, and good luck!!!

K1's are still moving on CSC, not as fast since CSC has higher volumes than the VSC but hey, we will take what we can get right?

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

Well, I must confess I saw this bright side also, at least I tried to see it , but I am more scared that it will take them X months to come back to our case. I'll have to check at others the period between RFE and NOA 2. Anyway I am really really upset.

I had a busy day at work and some problems and to end the day with such news....not encouraging at all...

From what I've seen, they move pretty quickly once they get your stuff back--it looks like it stays near the top of the pile on your adjudicator's desk, so hopefully it will be really fast!

Woohoo!

Congrats on the approvals!

Am I seeing things or is CSC approving K3's way ahead of K1's? Igor's list is showing some July and August K3's getting their NOA2's. If this is the case, I wish now we would have gone the K3 route.

On the bright side, we've moved up 45 spots on the list in the past 3 weeks..... So there is hope.

Good luck to everyone who is waiting so patiently.

Yeah I've been noticing that as well and thinking #######? Everything I read about this process before applying said that k3 took months longer then k1. I keep wondering if there is a step I'm not seeing in the process that makes it slower? I'm really wishing we'd gone k-3 now -- would have been 2 months faster!

We got the hard copy of the RFE yesterday, it was indeed easy: we didn't send the copy of my divorce certificate but only the translation into English. I'm relieved it's something that doesn't take time to prepare or for me to send from here, which would have meant some extra days lost on the way from Belgium to US, and my fiance can send the copy on Monday.

I hope next week will be a luck one for as many June filers as possible. :star:

I hope everything goes well RyDa--we'll be rooting for you from here!

I'm still thinking it will be at least a few more weeks until I'm going to start REALLY hoping for the petition approval--I can't see them moving through June too quickly (although based on Igor's List, I think there were considerably more May filers on here than June). I'm afraid to really get my hopes up--I don't want to be disappointed if we're one of the *slow* cases!!!

Stepha, I'm so glad to hear the RFE was for something you could quickly turn around--I hope you hear something back soon!

Hey VillaSpurs, I'm hoping that the next couple of weeks will see some progress too. On Igor's list we are only a couple of spots apart. Although it's frustrating when K-3's are flying by faster than K-1's.

I do have a question, does anyone know what point of entry is more "hassle free". I've read a few horror stories where the bride or bride to be was detained or questioned beyond reason.

Good luck to everyone who is waiting and waiting.......

I am definitely not getting my hopes too high up either, but not checking the list for several days as opposed to several hrs should make some difference, huh? :D If I'm out of the hospital on Fri that would make it five whole days - the longest I didn't check it! LOL ))

I think October overall will be a good month, only time will tell, but based on Igors list and VJ data, we June filers might be able to recieve our NOA2 before november, and thus, possibly leading to our SO's being here before New Years! MAYBE~ lol
