There was a post just last week - another person got an RFE for medical and vac. and sent back the vac. - they then received the denial. Now they have a much bigger fight on their hands - so be prepared for a denial if you do not send everything they asked for. In my opinion - since they asked for it - send the medical or else! (what's $200 or $300 compared to a denial and many more headaches?) Good luck

If doing another medical means you don't have to go for an interview I'd say it's a fair exchange.

I would go for that interveiw on the date you were told, anyways. Sometimes the cancellation of the interveiw is not noted on the account, and not showng up for the interview can be considered abandoning your AOS, so go to the interveiw anyways. Take both the appointment letter, and your cancellation letter and show it to them at the time. They may tell you that your interveiw has been cancelled, but you have the benefit of having spoken w/ someone live, who told you the interview was cancelled.

the new day a letter demanding med. and vacination information. we did the med. examintaion in jaurez mexico in oct. how do i get this information to the person processing our file ?

You got what is called a Request for Further Evidence(RFE). What exactly does it ask for, a full immigraiton medical examination, or just a vaccination record? If it is the vaccination record, you need to take your wife's vaccination records (what vaccines she received in Ciudad Juarez when she nad her medical) and find a Civil Surgeon in your area. (USCIS.gov website has information on Civil Surgeons grouped by city/zip.) The civil surgeon will transfer that information onto a form called I-693A. You probably want to download this form directly from USCIS website and take w/ you to the Civil Surgeon. There is a nominal fee for that....20-50$, but it beats having to do a full immigration medical which will cost you $200-300.

This is only if the RFE you received asks for vaccination records, if it states "immigraiton medical exam", then you're out of luck and you must bite the bullet and go get that done.

i am not going to pay double for somthing already done..

The truth is, if USCIS asks, you comply, because if not your case will be denied, and then where would you be? Read your RFE carefully, see what exactly they're asking for, and do that. YOu do not wan to end up w/ a denied case because you failed to comply w/ USCIS request.

Good luck,

-P
