I just got wind of a convo between a certain resident in my neck'o da woods and a 911 dispatcher....this is how it went down.....

rinnnngg.....rinnnngggg..rinnnnggg

dispatcher: "hello, 911 whats your emergency??"

certain resident: "ummm, yes, I have a question for you"

dispatcher: "okay; proceed."

certain resident: "if I met a man earlier today and slept with him a few hours ago and he drops me off at the corner when we are done, then I call him back tonight and he dont take my call, does that make me a #######, oh I'm sorry. dont mean to disrespect you, a prostitute???"

dispatcher: "no ma'am, that means you got used......"

Now I know what you are talking about. Well, I hope things work out for the best for the babies. I must admit, I was getting a little stressed by the thread but kept going back. I suppose I'm a bit relieved it's no longer there.

That was interesting Uno - not to mention the fact that most of the Emergency Systems can read the exact location and name assigned to the telephone numbers. That's deep.

And count me in on another person missing Omoba.

I'm missing a few people around here. I'm more of a seldom-contributor, so I must be needing my "fix" if I am posting more often. I usually like to read, laugh, cry, and butt in at times. But enjoy the wisdom and experience that I gain from being here.
