Medical exam

Hello to all,

I have concerns about the medical exam. I was admitted last July 31, 2008 to Aug. 2, 2008 for having Acute gastroentestinal with some dehydration secondary to amoebiasis. And in my coming medical exam, I'm confuse on what to tell them by the time they will ask me about my history of past illnesses. Will it matter if I will tell them that I was admitted? Will they fail me for that? or Shall I say the truth? I'm really worried about this. I need your help VJs.

Just tell the truth. They are more concerned with contageus conditions.

thanks, i will just bring my certification from my doctor proving that i'm 100% ok now

Just tell the truth, I think if they don't see a problem there is no reason to deny you..

As long as you will show them the Medical Certificate that proves you are totally OK, i dont think it will cause you a problem. Where in cebu are u from?

AGE with Dehydration due to Ameobiasis is not a cause of concern and is not a ground for visa denial. If they asked you for previous hospitalization just tell them you had been hospitalized last July for Amoebiasis. Bring a medical certificate from your Doctor but only give it to the Panel physician when asked. You can get Amoebiasis from infected food or water and a patient can be a carrier and don't have to have the symptoms and can pass the infection to others if he/she is preparing food.
