## My fiancee forgot to send U.S passport ##

Hello everybody

My wondering that is my fiance forgot to send U.S passpot on frist step on K-1 visa ( I-129F ) to Vermont Service.. My fiance was a slovenian but got U.S citizen since 24 /july /2008 ..Right now he didnt have the U.S passport , but we sent the Slovenia passport on the page where he got stamp from Thai immigrition when he been visit me last time..Shall they ask my finance's U.S passport to send again? :innocent::innocent:

If you send a copy now there is every chance it might get caught up in all the paperwork that USCIS have received. They might send you an RFE for it so i would wait until then. Addtionally, don't send the actual passport.

Don't send anything now, it will not find your original paperwork.

Did he send proof of his US Citizenship??? Naturalization info??? That is where the passport would be needed. As long as they know he is now a USC and the proof of travel are in his Slovenian passport, which you sent, I think you're set. But it all depends what he sent for proof that he is naturalized.

Hello ..Yes, my fiance sent the U.S Citizen ( Naturalization info) to the VSC.Hope they will not ask us one more time to send the U.S passport ,we sent all to proof of our ralationship and the documents what they needs,we sent passport but not U.S passport as I told before. Thank you for visit my post topic :):)

Send COPIES....never ever send original documents, especially original passports.

Then based on your response, there does not appear to be a reason to have submitted his US passport as evidence of citizenship (documented via naturalization info) or evidence of meeting since he did not posses a US passport when you met.
