How to assemble my 1-751 papers? I'll do a 2 hole with ACCO fastener at the top or attached everything with a big clip?

I remember that when i sent my AOS last year I just put paper clips on each documents that goes together. Which way is right?

Please I need your advise. Thank you again.

Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.

Thanks for sharing the link.

Question: I noticed on the link it stated that tabs on the bottom (rather than the side) are preferred. Does anyone have an example of such? I've only known tabs to be located on the side. Please help.

Thanks!

Boaz

I didn't tab at all. I had a 4 part divided folder with the top clips. And, I had each section divided by colored paper just to show the differences in each section. But, as far as tabs.....none.

Hi Everyone,

Likewise, the same applies to me:

I didn't tab at all. But, as far as tabs.....none.

I figured that if I tabed it, they might be even "pickier" and might want to focus on certain sections instead of others, which I don't agree with, as I think all sections in the package are equally important to look at. As well, I thought that I did enough work in organizing the evidence before I sent in the package, so I leave it up them to organize/re-organize it in the acco folder in whatever way they want after they receive it....

However, if you do want to do tabs/dividers, I would recommend using the "post-it" coloured ones, as they can be easily moved/removed around to the bottom of the pages and are fairly inexpensive to buy (about $1 for four different colours, for about 100 tabs).

Good luck to everyone on the immigration journey.

Ant (Still waiting at the VSC...)

P.S. To Meblue: (I read about this information you posted on the other message topic) I'm sorry for the loss of your husband. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I hope especially for you (since you are filing on a waiver), that all goes well during your I-751 application and the rest of your immigration journey.

Thank you for the sympathy. It's really hard for me, the adjustment of being alone and living all by myself is hard. I'm still in deep pain. I had a very wonderful husband and a wonderful marraige but I have to face it that my husband is already gone. I have to move on and do all these immigration things. I'm so glad that many members here in VJ helping me. To all the members here who always give their advice and help, thank you so much....... God will bless your heart.

Hi Meblue,

Yes, it would be a hard adjustment to go through such a painful loss by yourself like that. With time, I hope you heal from that and be able to continue on with your life. It's good that you have such wonderful memories of your husband, which you can definitely find comfort in having such. Remember that he will always be with you, through these memories and through your everyday life in a spiritual way, always looking out for you... :innocent:

Glad that you are able to find help here on VJ, especially regarding immigration matters that would be difficult to deal with on your own at this time. Welcome to VJ, Meblue!
