AOS approvals in Detroit?

Hi to all..We went to Detroit for our interview for AOS back on June 4 2008 ..the interview went fine, although the woman was not very friendly, she let us know we would hear from that office when we would be approved for the 2yr greencard, as of now we have heard nothing? Is this normal? I have not recieved a CRIS email and have had no touchs since the june 4th date? If anyone has had a similar experience please share...Thanks

That's a long delay....maybe you should contact USCIS directly

Thanks your guys for giving me your advice...I just called my attorney and his secretary said he would get back with us, on what our next move will be? She did say some are approved right away and others depending on their attitude(interviewer) will hold onto files and take there sweet time

That's exactly what my attorney has just told me on the phone. My interviewer's attitude was awful and is most likely the reason for not giving an answer. Already have my congress lady back on the case. I can't 4 months for a decision. I have to see my boys at Christmas.
