Even though i did'nt event think there would be any changes to the AVR, it's become quite a habbit to call, so i got back from work today and yep, i checked it and to my suprise my case has been forwarded to London.

Does this mean i've been assigned an interview date?

I thought they shedule interview dates the 2 nd week of the month.

I am so excited to actually know that on Monday i will actually know an official date as to when i will have the interview and instead of guestimating when i will actually get to see my gorgeous husband, i will know.

Oh i hate the weekends, during this process

I think they forward it to the embassy first and then schedule for an appointment... next week is the second week of the month, so maybe you will have an appointment date soon!!!

London is an appointment post....as such the NVC should have scheduled the interview date. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

Most likely it's assigned. I do suspect that it's a bs about second or third week. I see in the embassy online interview schedule that cases are added almost daily, not 2nd or 3rd week only. Maybe they update their systems in NVC or allowed to tell us interview dates on certain times of month (when they send out appointment letters maybe).

Also was curious to see a USCIS Priority Date on my NVC RFE hard copy. Why do they keep it and print on case info? Does it have any bearing on interview assignment or anything else?

Well, when i spoke the the NVC operator on Tuesday, she told me that an interview date will be assigned on the second week of the month, and i should wait till then, so i'm not sure when they do all that stuff.

I'm not sure about the priority date thing, i was wondering that myself. I'm not sure what is in reference too.

After reading ROCA's post, I called NVC. This is a little strange, my case has been completed as of 8/29 and the AVR message has been the same until today. Today the AVR is stating....your case has been completed on 9/5.... Not sure what to make of this now. Maybe interview was scheduled yesterday and my petition has been sent to the embassy??? I guess I'll just need to wait until Monday to confirm the status.
