Hi Everyone!

Biometric appointment was yesterday. Was quick, and they were very friendly.

I had a nice time there.

so no waiting for decision from the service centre.

Meanwhile the EAD & AP seems to be dead or something as there has been no update on that one....

So i'm doing what i have done since i came here.... waiting.

I read somewhere about MSC meaning Missouri Service Center but that it is really the NSC or National Service

Center. They said they still use MSC but it is not really in Missouri.

Also, do they do biometric appts on Saturdays or just M-F?

Some have biometrics on Oct 25th.....a Saturday.....??

It depends on the office. I see that your local office is SanFran. If you get an appointment at the Application Support Center instead of the Field Office, then yes Saturday is available and they're open Tues - Sat.

My local ASC is also Tue - Sat.

I'm not sure of the hours and days of the field offices. The USCIS website doesn't the times for those.

How long does it take before I can view my case online? It's been almost two weeks from the date of the NOAs.

I was able to see my case online 2-3 business days after receiving the NOAs. You should be able to check online soon, especially since it's been 2 wks.

09/16/2008 - Received notice for biometrics appointment on 09/30/2008

09/20/2008 - Biometrics done - Walk in (Orlando) Took 10 minutes

09/22/2008 - I-485 viewable online (pending, of course)

Ok, I will wait patiently for my biometrics appointment letter to arrive and then I'll try to add my case again. It's not really a big deal, just kinda cool to get semi-instant updates.

i just called the USCIS ofc for my biometrics.. :(

and i asked if i can do walk-in for my biometrics..

the guy said i cant do walk-in, they do walk-ins but just for the military.. <_<

Went to my biometrics appointment yesterday. Appointment was set at 11am in the Boston USCIS and we arrived 10 minutes early.... then I was called in as soon as I sit down when I start filling out the little piece of paper. After 5 minutes I am done with the finger printing and photo shot... and when we left the application support center, it's not even 11am! That was smooth!

Now the real wait begins!

H-1 Process:

10/01/2007 Activated my 3 year H-1b visa

AOS Process:

08/06/2008 Appointment with civil surgeon, blood-work

08/08/2008 Getting married!

08/15/2008 Additional vaccination and chest x-ray taken as per I-693

09/13/2008 AOS packet mailed out to USCIS in Chicago

09/15/2008 AOS packet received by USCIS in Chicago

09/18/2008 NOA for AOS, EAD, and AP issued

09/19/2008 $1010 for I-485 cashed

09/22/2008 $355 for I-130 cashed

09/26/2008 NOA for Biometrics Appointment scheduled for 10/15/2008 in Boston USCIS

I am wondering how you find out where your cases are....

Did you receive an actual letter in mail regarding where your case is? Did you receive an e-mail? Does the case information online tells us where your case is?

My case still does not show up when I use the USCIS case search engine. I have biometrics appointment today, so I am hoping that I can access to my case information online soon.

At least in my case the online status didn't change when I received my biometrics appointment; it just showed-up in the mail
