hi, september! long time no word...how is everyone??? we need updates!

dima and i were married on 5/19/2009...life is wonderful and i can't even remember what it was like to live without him. of course nothing's perfect, but things are definitely better with him around. we applied for AOS at the beginning of june. so, now to wait again

Well my interview was July 8th. Not impressed at all with the "customer service" I recieved at all at the embassy, the interviewer was cool, but the person I had to hand my forms into and get fingerprinted with was well, I dont have anything nice to say about her that doesnt involve any foul language. I did recieve my visa tho Tickets are booked and I'm moving in 3.5 weeks, and we are planning an October wedding.

Maybe, once all of us September filers are over here, we should organise a meet up? It looks like lot of you are in either NC or SC. We could do a weekend together in either state. What do you say?

And it looks like HG finally got out of AP at US Embassy in Cairo! Good news all round.

''Trina and Mohamed '' thats my fiancee Id . I sent an Email to the embassy to ask them about my status and they sent me an Email back asked me to send them my passport.

They sent the same Email to many people today .they even sent to it to a woman and they asked her to tell her husband to send his passport and guess what?!!! they already have it .

I called DOS to make sure and they said I'm still under AP.

anyway I'm going to send my passport on Saturday and i hope it will be a false hope . and they really want my passport to issue the visa .

very good idea my fiancee lives in NC can we join ?

Oops, so sorry I forgot your fiance's name and the mix up. Don't despair just because lot of people got that email today... maybe they are finally pulling that finger out from where they have been sitting on :-). The change is in the air

How long can an average AP be for Cairo? Surely not as long as the I-129F approval?! Enough is enough.

Of course you can join the meet up! You were September filer, right? All are welcome. And I would be bringing kosher meat :-).

Well you can not really tell how much the AP will take in Cairo . sometimes 1 month ,2,4,6,9 months sometimes even a year .
