Called last Wednesday and they said it was sent on Monday... I got home from the USA on Wednesday so there is no way it came before then... Sent DoS an e-mail today, no response, if it doesnt come in the mail by tommorow I am going to call DoS back and ask them if they can possibly send another one, since it has been twice as long as it was supposed to take already... I thought about just doing the forms online, but I need to mail them some checklist or so I have gathered from the Canadian forums. I'm prolly just obsessing but I did catch the lady that lives upstairs stealing my mail last year...

Cow (I mean your neighbour of course :))! What a cheek?!! Not a good situation for you though. Could you forward your post to somebody else that you can trust?

The checklist for London is a form that you can also find online so maybe Montreal has something similar. Or maybe one of the people on Canadian forum can scan it for you and post it on VJ for your use?

Good luck anyway. Maybe it'll arrive today.

Joe & Nadya, are you out of AP finally?

My goodness, I should hope not. 47 days isn't long enough?! People seem to get out of NVC around 50-ish day mark so maybe today is your day!

Soon, very soon you'll be all together again. You've waited so long already, I'm sure after this everything will seem like a piece of cake.

Good luck and keep us posted. :star:

Well the Montreal Consulate e-mailed me back today and said if it isnt here by Friday to let them know and they will send another one, I am going to check online for this checklist and likely ask them to forward it to my work address because I am always there when the mail comes. So sad to come home to a soggy IKEA flier and nothing else in my mailbox today :(

Over a month in AP!!!! That is ridiculous. Makes no sense to me. They did security checks before the NOA2, so what else could they possibly need?

Well a new package 3 was mailed to me today. Hopefully this one actually makes it to me. / cross toes.

We will all be pretty close, when I fly I usually have a layover in Charlotte, that is such a nice clean airport. I havent seen too much of Charlotte though, went through it by bus last May too. Never been to Florida though, I cant wait to go there though.

One delay after another. I just can't believe it all. Has there been any September files who went through the whole process smoothly and without delays at some point (apart for the poster who started this topic :)... I think she got approved very quickly)?

Great!!! Soon you can schedule for an interview :innocent:

And you chose NC for your first visit?! Oh, you are brave! ;)

Just joking, only drove through NC but the scenery along I-95 was nice (what I could see from thick fog... at least it was hilly unlike FL :)). But I do have an issue with SC or rather with their roads. They are in desperate need of repairs.

Once we are all over, we should arrange for a get together and maybe we could meet in different state every year. :) What do you think?

Lucky you. :star: I have to say I'm a bit worried about gators... not sure how I like them as neighbours...

:ot:

I just phoned NVC again to find out what's happening with our case. Apparently it was sent to London the same day they logged it in (1st April). Not bad for Fools Day. So I decided to try and track it through DHL. I thought it was too good to be true for the case to to continue at this speed :). Apparently shipment got delivered at incorrect facility  Honestly!!!

yea we should all definitely all meet up someday when we finally all make it to the US. I cant believe you have never been Joe&Nadya! I live like 30 min drive from the USA and visiting is sooo like going to a different country.. well it is , but I didnt think Canada was that different until I went to the US. SC roads are horrible, but not as bad as Ohio, we drove to Dayton for christmas and hit some pot holes and I swear we hit our head on the truck roof. Lol. Friday and no packet 3, a new one was mailed yesterday so I have given up on the original one ever arriving. I did however mail and fax my DS230 and a checklist that I copied from the Vancouver consulate, it was a bit out dated but I ran into a post by another Canadian who was delayed in getting her p3 and made her own checklist and sent it in and it was fine. I also sent in a note and explained that I would follow it with the actual checklist when and if it ever comes... Didnt want to wait anymore. And i faxed it and mailed a copy as well with a tracking code so it is sure to get there somehow. Funny how things work, you will get the p3 about the same time as I should get my second one Kat&Allie. And Joe and Nadya, NC is close to the beach tooo! So you get the best of everything. I cant wait to be able to take my kids to the ocean and to the mountains and all that interesting stuff that Ontario doesnt have. Like GATORS!!!! And snakes, btw did you ever see the pic of the snake that ate the gator and exploded???
