Our lawyer sent our K1 petition to the Vermont Service Center prior to his vacation. Hopefully, he should have an NOA1 for us when he return on 09/22. Best of luck to everyone!

Although I'm from California (CSC), don't let that stop you from visiting from time to time. There a lot of Brazilian as well as other great countries here, so don't be a stranger in the "May Filers" forum.

Karri - Please answer. I see that you have said that someone has signed it. Where did you check that? I saw in my USPS tracking and it says that no one has signed it. It just says, delivered in Laguna Niguel 92607.

Please confirm where you saw the name signed. Thanks. Also, I sent it to the following address

3-31-2009 - Returned 221g additional evidence request

4-08-2009 - Received visa!!!

4-19-2009 - POE

5-09-2009 - Wedding

:unsure: I haven't gotten the NOA1, but I know they got the I-129f at the VSC because my check cleared on 3 Oct.

I don't know if I'll be a "September" filer or not. I guess I will have to see if I can read the number on the back of the check and look up my case.

JUN07 - Went on vacation to Ipatinga, Brasil with my Brother and his wife Lena. Met Lena's sister Cristiane.

SEP07 - Wrote 1st letter

JAN08 - 2nd trip to Ipatinga

30JUL08 - 425 emails later proposal accepted

23SEP08 - I-129f sent

29SEP08 - I-129f received by VSC

01OCT08 - NOA1

03OCT08 - NOA1 mailed from VSC

03OCT08 - Check clears the bank. Join Visa Jouney (not lurker any more)

05OCT08 - Updated = "touched" by VSC

06OCT08 - NOA1 arrived in the mail

23JAN09 - 3rd trip to Ipatinga

11MAR09 - Updated = "touched" by VSC

11MAR09 - NOA2 - To NVC & Beyond!!!!

13MAR09 - Cris quit her job in Ipatinga. Hope NVC and the Consulate in Rio are quick workers.

16MAR09 - Hard copy of NOA2 arrived in the mail.

27MAR09 - Consulate in Rio sets interview date.

06APR09 - Copy of visa interview letter arrives in Houston. No sign of letter or packet 4 in Ipatinga

21MAY09 - Visa interview in Rio - Visa Approved

27MAY09 - Cris got her passport with the Visa back

06JUN09 - 4th trip to Ipatinga

20JUN09 - Returned to Houston. This time Cris was with me.

TBD - Wedding in San Antonio area.

I'm so happy cause finally we filed for the visa . we have been waiting so long for that day

in fact we sent our petition on 08/28/2008 but i think they will receive our papers and they will send us the NOA1 in September so i think it means we filed for the visa in September .

it passed almost 30 days and no NOA1 yet......worry worry.....must be something wrong :unsure:
