Sorry. Had to answer my own post because it totally reminded me of him.

OMG, do you remember him? He was in the news all the time back then. I also remember how he drunk-drove and ran down a derelict in the street..... or was it some pedestrian who made a valiant attempt to make it to safety? Anyway, it was a hit and run but the policewoman only stopped him because she wanted his autograph. OMG. When I think of those days.

I have some vague recollection of Rene' - but not really. Sometimes I just say his name because it sounds funny, does that count? Way to go policewoman...harumph.
