Hi!

so, i saw in the checklist for AOS that i need this I-693, (Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status).

and all of the above applies to me

-i already have this from my overseas Visa Interview

-i am a K-1 fiancé(e) who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement (I-693A),

But at the POE in Chicago the police officer took all that i was in my sealed envelope that i had from the embassy and never gave it to me back.

*Is that ok?

*Did he send it to some local office here?

*Can i get it back?

Thanks everybody!

The big envelope was forwarded to CIS, all you'll need to do is submit evidence of vaccinations. Read the instructions to I-693, it explains everything very clearly about what to do if you're a K-1 AND your medical exam was less than 1 year ago.

1) Yes it is OK because that is normal for them to take your envelope

2) The sent it to the USCIS and it is probably in storage somewhere

3) No you cannot get it back

For AOS, they will retrieve your medical from your file in storage, you will need to provide evidence of vaccinations. The I-693A is obsolete. If I am not mistake, it is now the I-693, Part II, Item 5
