My DS-230 was rec'd on 8/13/08, still no updates/completion from the NVC. I have called the NVC, but they just gave me a standard reply. "Wait for 2-4 weeks".

Anyone else tried calling?

It takes them about 2 weeks to process anything they receive, so you should give them more time.

Same here, mine was received on 8/18. AVR hasn't updated either, I was hoping that at least the AVR would update to say they received it. Let's hope Mononoke28 is right and you guys start hearing "Case Complete" later this week or early next week, that way I'll know I'm not far behind. :D

See my signature for our updates...I called NVC and spoke with an operator on the 20th (a week after DS 230 was entered) and she said that as of that day, our case was complete. i have checked and the AVR isn't updated yet. if you haven't already, you may call and try to speak with an operator to find out where you stand.

2008-11-07.....Visa due to arrive. DHL truck delivering visa was robbed, Consulate required us to present I-864s and DS-230 again, had to get a new passport and other related documents

2008-11-14.....Presented all new documents in person at Consulate, visa printed same day

2008-11-25.....POE Atlanta

2008-12-26.....Green Card and 2nd Welcome Letter arrive

2010-09-02.....Date of NOA ROC 1-751

2010-12-13.....Approval of ROC

2011-01-12.....10 year Permanent Resident card arrived

2011-12-20.....N-400 Application mailed

2011-12-29.....NOA

2012-02-02.....Walk-in biometrics (appt was for 2/16)
