Yeah...Sir Saint Nimche the Good and Gold doesn't drink alcohol.

Through this visa process, I've actually nearly stopped drinking alcohol.

Update...

medical went OK...but not done.

Since wifEy didn't bring a copy of childhood vaccinations, they have to wait for blood results

to know what shots she'll need.

RFE...the DS-230 pt 2 made it into our file...but hasn't been reviewed yet.

OMG, the guy in the mailroom should be qualified to review the DS-230 pt 2.

All you have to do is look at the form...check.

See if the beneficiary/applican'ts name is on it....check.

See if the petitioner's name, address and phone number are on it...check.

See if there are any "Yes" boxes checked...check.

See if it's been signed...(should not be signed)....check.

This form is the most ministerial form of them all. There could be no form simpler to review.

Of course I received the new standard response...one to three weeks for review.

I'm hoping it's done by Monday...maybe we can FINALLY celebrate our case complete next week...same as our anniversary.

I just called the NVC operators. She said that as of yesterday my case has been under review.

It could take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks or even less.

I am happy because the package just got there on Wednesday and it is already under review....

BTW< I say water but I drink other stuff too. Like Ice T. or fruit juice and other stuff.

UPDATE: I have been calling NVC since three days ago and all they say is wait 10-15 days for supervisor's review.

The spreadsheet has been cleaned up some more. I trolled through the profiles of all the 'blank spacers' and filled in what was available. Those who haven't updated anything anywhere since their NOA2s were removed from the spreadsheet. I realize that not everyone has regular access to the internet, but everyone removed had been sitting there dormant for a month or more. If they come back and provide an update, I'll be happy to re-add them, but in the meantime, the data is more accurate.

Oh, and as for me, I just got off the phone with the NVC and confirmed my new PCC was entered into their system yesterday. I got the usual '6-8 weeks or review' comment, but then she said that there would probably be an update available already if I call back in 10-15 days. Crossing fingers for case complete by the end of next week!

Ilya, with the time getting closer to move, she's probably extremely nervous. Do everything in your power not to put a negative spin on what you perceive from her. She's about to make a massive life change. Be both positive and realistic. Positive without realism will not provide security to her. But being positive and realistic will assure her that you will take good care of her during this transition.

Bottom line is that if she's not asking it is more likely because she's doing last minute reevaluations which are completely normal and completely understandable. You need to be a rock now.
