Hello everyone...I lost the letter that NVC sent me, telling me to go online and fill the DS-230...the letter also came with a white return envelope. I'm not sure if the letter also included a bar code such as the I-864 did.

My question is...Can I just provide my own envelope with the completed DS-230 and send it out?

I also was informed about the James Shortcuts where I can send out my DS-230 with no problem....but I don't know where to start...where do I go to get the information on sending my DS-230....or should I call NVC so that they can send me another return envelope?

You can send 230 in any envelope

National Visa Center

Attn: CMR

32 Rochester Avenue

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909

you can make own cover page using james shortcuts, cover page contains address you are sending to, NVC case number and barcode. Below the barcode there is a visa class (IR-1 or CR-1)

I assume you did not pay IV fee online, otherwise you could print out another cover page.

Good luck.
