I just got back home....so here goes.

16th May 2006

The hand in documents.

I was there around 8am... they let me in around 8.30 and I was the first person in line. I turned in all the documents.... I asked the person if i need to submit my co-sponsor affidavit too ( I need a co-sponsor since my fiance's dad just passed away last year so he, being the oldest, is supporting the family ). But he told me to give the form during the interview...if they asked for it.

He then gave back my x-ray film and told me to come back at 1.30pm for the interview.

The interview

Arrived at 1pm. I got in and was the first in line again. They called up my number and I was pretty nervous. Questions asked.

'What did you fiance do in states?'

'How do you meet you fiance?'

'What did you do over here?'

'When did you graduate and what is your major?' (since Im 24 and just graduated in late 2004)

'How long you do you know your fiance?'

He also looked at the pictures....total 3 trips.. 2 trips to malaysia and my trip to us. Asked me about the places we went too...

Oh yeah he looked at my fiance affidavit form and he didnt say anything about it. So I am not sure what is the real requirement though because obviously my fiance didnt met th 125% poverty since he is claiming his brothers on his tax form. But since he didnt say anything , I just keep my co-sponsor affidavit form ( my future sister in law actually )

He told me everything looks good and to come back on Friday.

Pick up visa

They gave me my passport and visa and the whole paperwork inside this sealed brown envelope ( to be opened at POE ).

End of ~6 months K1 journey and 7 years separation... =).

That was my experience.

Thnks to everyone....for all the info.... =).

p/s Will worry bout AOS later.
