I always thought putting my CR-V in overdrive wasted gas,and now somebody told me it didn't.I'm confused.

July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.

The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

Depends where you are driving I suppose... It will waste more gas in stop and go or city traffic. But its more efficient when cruising at highway speeds.

overdrive on a straight flat at highway speed will save you gas. overdrive on hilly terrain with speed limits less than 50 will waste gas. Same rule works the for the cruise control.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

You have a Honda so leave it on overdrive. Yes it does save you gas. Their transmissions are designed to cater for most driving conditions.

Overdrive off is only useful if you are driving up step mountains / hills.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
