I sent my RFE back to CSC on Friday and they recieved it on Saturday (it was signed by CSC) and no touch today and I am wonder how long would it take them to look at my evidence and move on?

Does it have a normal time frame? I know probably I am not patient enough but we have been waiting for very long time to get this done.

Thank you guys

I thought you will give me some minimum numbers, so I don't get heart attack. :D

What are they doing? That is how a RFE can delay your case? hmmm...

Noch, I sent them the translation certifide from the embassy + copies of the original but apperantly they have lost the copy of original so they asked for those. Kind of stupid because the actual translation was there.

I sometimes think so too! we provided all documents to the embassy when the day I went to file in my petition, they said our documents were good enough, but seemed like that they forgot to take them, and asked me to mail the documents to them half a month later! !!

I hate it. It delays you case anyway even if it is for one day.

I hope mine doesn't take that long. We have no idea how long more we have to wait to re-unite. It has been 4 years after marriage and 8 years after we met. When are we going to start a life, god knows!

We got the same RFE, my husband claimed he did send the marriage cert in Malay. Our English one wasn't a translation, we have in both English and Malay. I tend to think my husband assumed USCIS couldn't read Malay and only sent the English version. :-)

For us, it took about one week for the RFE to get into the system, and the online status changed to "RFE received and processing resumed". And our I-130 was approved right after that. However, we didn't receive any form of notice from USCIS. We were anxious to know whether our I-130 was approved after "RFE received and processing resumed" there were a few touches. We got the congress aide to make an inquiry on behalf of us. He found out our case was approved, the NOA2 hardcopy only showed up 2 weeks later!

My case (which was expedited one & with congressional help) took 27 days after the RFE was received.

I was touched 3 times in 3 consecutive days after the date the RFE was received. After that, nothing happened.

Until today, I got approved

The general waiting time according to their timeline is within 60 days. Good luck
