Does that mean I hate all Dominicans? Hell no.

I suppose it's different when you live in a society where (seemingly) every Dominican was trying to kill everyone of your fathers ethnicity.

Sure I suppose it is. I heavily sympathize with Shpat through his family's tragedy.

However, I highly doubt every Serb was trying to kill every last Kosovar.

Thus my use of the word 'seemingly'. During times like that, what seems isn't always is.

If i had the opportunity? I'd behead those 6 dudes with masks who took away my grandfather...

And its why we should all be careful when overgeneralizing. Specially about nationality and ethnicity, even in the face of historical hatred that many a times, have the most ridiculous foundations in causality.

Shpat, may I ask how old were you during the war in Kosovo and did your family become refugees here in America because of the war?

About 13 and a half and I was there during the war, we fleed to Macedonia at a camp there we signed up to go to three countries..America, Germany and England our names came up to go to America and thats how we came here as refugees.

Sadly the serbian terrorists massacred my grandfather..and thats why to this day I HATE every ###### serb alive.

Theres a bit more to it than a difference of views though.

Where you're coming from, at least from what you've said doesn't seem much different than the "kill 'em all" mentality that we see in Israel and the Palestinian terrorists. Appalling atrocities on both sides - and nothing seems to have come out this except a seemingly permanent state of psychosis.

Allowing the past to destroy the future doubles the tragedy.

we did have some iraqis in the first gulf war that decided to pick a fight using ak-47's against a cobra. that ended badly.
